What this policy covers
This policy explains what happens to the information you give us through this website. It covers the website only. Information you share once you become a client is governed by our engagement letter with you.
What we collect
When you submit a service request or book a consultation, we collect the details you type into the form: your name, mobile number, email address, city, the type of client you are, the service you are asking about, your preferred way of being contacted, any preferred date and time, and whatever you write in the message box.
Our server also records the IP address and browser identification string of the device used to submit the form. We keep these solely to detect and block automated abuse of the form.
We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not run third-party analytics on this website.
Why we collect it
We use these details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you become a client, to carry out the work you have asked for. We contact you using the method you selected on the form.
Who can see it
Enquiries are stored in our internal system and are visible only to authorised members of the CAI team. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone for marketing.
We may share information where the law requires it, or with a professional adviser or service provider acting for us who is bound to keep it confidential.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become engagements are kept for up to three years so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us, after which they are deleted. Records relating to work we have carried out are retained for the period required by the applicable tax, company and professional record-keeping rules.
Security
Information is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored on access-controlled systems. Access requires an individual account, and administrative actions are logged. No system can be guaranteed absolutely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Your choices
You may ask us what enquiry information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to us using the contact details on this website and we will respond.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page.
